Benefits of Partnership

The impacts of FASD on the health, social, educational and justice systems are estimated to cost Canadian taxpayers approximately $4 billion each year. A recent Canadian study puts the estimated lifetime cost of FASD at $1 million per case.

Our work helps reduce the tremendous impacts of FASD on families, communities and governments.

Last year, with the funding at our avail, we were able to assess 15 children and adolescents, support 88 individuals with mentorship, coaching and outreach services, and provide prenatal intervention and support for seven women. But the needs of the community far exceed our capacity.

With your help, through a partnership with the South Alberta FASD Network we can expand our services and programs to enhance quality of life for those affected by FASD and strengthen the fabric of our community.
